本作は、9歳で失明し、18歳で聴力を失った東京大学の教授でバリアフリー研究者・福島智（ふくしまさとし）と、母・令子の実話をもとにした物語。智の幼少期から大学受験までの姿が描かれる。。1990年代，物资匮乏的老百姓为了生活，全心投入生产，涌现出了一大批先进的劳动工作者，时年勤奋的年轻人秦卫国辛勤努力，随着时代的变迁，老百姓生活水平不断提升。。A young cardiologist has a patient with a disability who ends up passing away. She feels responsible for his death. When she visits the mother of her patient to apologize she becomes angry and sues to have the doctor's medical license taken away.。
